About

My journey with yoga began while studying for my degree in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Gloucestershire. What started as a way to unwind after a busy social life soon evolved into something much deeper, a grounding practice that’s supported me through many different phases of life.

After discovering my passion for movement and wellbeing, I went on to study Physiotherapy at Brunel University, graduating with First Class Honours in 2015. I began my career in Leicester, completing my junior and acute rotations before moving back down south to specialise in Neuro Rehabilitation and start my family.

Today, I work part-time within a Community Neuro Rehab Team, where I have the privilege of visiting patients in their own homes. I’m passionate about discovering what truly matters to each individual and collaborating with specialist nurses, consultants, and the wider multidisciplinary team to create meaningful, personalised rehabilitation for people recovering from hospital stays or living with long-term conditions.

Throughout all these stages, yoga has remained my constant, a source of balance, strength, and connection. During lockdown, I was honoured to receive a scholarship with Live Love Yoga at Salt Water Studios, Worthing, where I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in 2021.

Since qualifying, I’ve woven yoga into my physiotherapy practice, introducing group sessions for NHS patients, gaining recognition withing other CNRTs and the Care without Carbon teams. More recently, I have begun to teach privately. My love of nature deeply influences the way I teach, I believe yoga offers us a chance to reconnect with the natural world and with our own inner rhythms. Whether practicing outdoors or simply drawing inspiration from the changing seasons, I aim to bring that sense of calm, presence, and grounding into every class.

When I’m not working or teaching, you’ll find me exploring the countryside with my husband and three children, camping, biking, or running along the beautiful South Downs.
